I don't typically write about video editing.

Three reasons why:

1. I don't edit a lot of video
2. I'm not an expert by any means
3. I am more interested in AI

But this week, my interest in AI and my limited knowledge of video editing collided in the most spectacular way.

Maybe you've heard of Descript?

This is a powerful way of editing media, saving hours of time compared to the traditional method.

They recently announced their next release, and it will be a complete game-changer.

Now, instead of combing through your video or audio file looking for filler words, you can tell Descript's AI to "remove filler and tighten this up."

Then, you can tell it to add additional clips to your video to make it more interesting.

Finally, you can ask it to review your video and suggest anything else that might be missing.

So now, instead of a powerful editing tool that you use yourself, you have a powerful AI editor that you can chat with to make changes.

You won't need to know a thing about video or audio editing to make it work.
