I have taken a lot of online training programs.

I've been in Amy Porterfield's Digital Course Academy. I went through Stu McClaren's The Membership Experience.

I've experienced many rounds of Marie Forleo's B-School.

And - even though the content in these programs is wildly different - do you know what's the same?

I haven't completed a single one.

If I had to hedge a guess, I'm about a quarter or halfway through each one.

That's a lot of content that I'm missing out on!

So, why haven't I completed these programs?

Am I lazy?

Easily distracted?

Prone to starting things and never finishing them?

All are plausible explanations.

But here's the real reason: I keep getting stuck.

I'll be churning merrily through a program, getting work done, learning new things, and then...whammo.

It's like running headlong into a brick wall.

I come across an exercise or lesson that I can't get past.

And yes, I know. Every single one of these creators stresses that you don't need to be perfect. You need to get ideas down and keep making messy progress.

Easier said than done.

I also know that many of these creators provide online forums where you can ask questions. They host live Q&A sessions.

But there's only one of them. And thousands of students. And millions of questions.

So what's a creator to do?

You want students to complete your program, because you want them to gain the maximum benefit.

You also want them to get stellar results. The students who do will likely shout their success from the rooftops.

And nothing beats a word-of-mouth recommendation.

Enter the custom AI assistant.

A custom AI assistant is an AI that you train with your expertise and existing content.

You explicitly instruct your assistant on how to answer questions. Then, you feed it whatever resources it needs to provide high-quality guidance.

This works incredibly well if you have a lot of existing content to work from.

You can share video transcripts, emails, worksheets, and more with the AI. With each piece of content you add, the AI learns how to answer questions as you would.

However, it also works if you're starting out. In this case, you train the AI assistant with whatever you have. Then, as your content library grows, your assistant keeps getting smarter.

Once your AI assistant is set up, you no longer have to be on call 24/7 to support your students.

They can ask the assistant for help whenever they plow headlong into a roadblock.

Imagine how much more progress they will make.

Imagine how much more successful they will become.

Imagine how many more satisfied students you'll have.

This is why I'm so excited about the potential of AI assistants for course creators.

In the coming weeks and months, we'll continue to dive into this topic so you can learn how to create these assistants for yourself.

Your creator AI guide,

Chris Roberts
